The Shop Arts and Ceramics Studio
Located in South Edmonton, The Shop is a vibrant studio and welcoming community hub for artists of all experience levels. In addition to offering a variety of classes, workshops, and intensives for artists at all stages throughout the year, The Shop also provides rental opportunities for studio and shelf space, supporting local artists in showcasing and creating their work.
About Me
Kaleb Romano is an Edmonton-based artist who primarily works with clay, wood, and painting. He is the creative visionary behind The Shop Art and Ceramic Studio, where he not only produces his own unique artwork but also teaches classes and manages the day-to-day operations to keep the studio running smoothly. As an international artist, Kaleb's work is featured in both public and private collections around the world. His pieces often showcase bold, striking patterns influenced by a variety of sources, including prints, geometric repetitive designs, M.C. Escher, William Morris, fabric, architecture, and the natural environment. Interestingly, Kaleb frequently dresses in clothing that complements and reflects the aesthetics of his artwork.
Cancellation Policy
Individuals who have registered for a class but are unable to attend are required to give written (email) notice to contact@theshopacs.com 5 days in advance of the course start date to receive a full refund. Registrants who cancel with 4 or less days notice will receive 50% of their registration fee. After the course has begun, The Shop is unable to issue a refund or offer makeup classes for any days missed. This will still apply to any Covid related cancelations. If classes are canceled in the event of Covid related health restrictions, students may be eligible for a class credit at a later date.
